SaaS product development.
Turning an idea into software people pay to use takes far more than the app itself: user accounts, billing, the infrastructure to scale, the parts nobody sees until real customers show up. We build all of it, and we have taken a SaaS the whole way, from a blank page to a live, paying product.
Part of our Cincinnati software studio// 01 · THE FOUNDATION
BUILT FOR WHERE YOU’RE GOING, NOT JUST WHERE YOU ARE.
A SaaS never stands still. The pricing changes, features get added, and the product you launch is rarely the one you are running two years later. The decisions made at the start, the architecture, the data model, the infrastructure, either let you adapt cheaply or force an expensive rebuild down the road.
So before we write code, we get clear on what your business is actually trying to do, then build a foundation strong enough to rely on and flexible enough to change as you learn. You end up with software that grows with you instead of boxing you in.
// 02 · DESIGN FIRST
CHANGES ARE CHEAP IN DESIGN, AND EXPENSIVE IN CODE.
Most people want to jump straight into development, because that is what feels like progress. But moving a screen around in a design takes minutes, while changing something fundamental once it is built can mean tearing up the architecture underneath it. So every project starts in design, where the product is cheap to change and easy to see.
Seeing it laid out screen by screen is also when the real changes reveal themselves, the ones you only notice once the thing is in front of you. And because the people designing it also build it, we catch the opportunities and the problems early: a feature that will be a headache to build the way it is drawn, or an easy win sitting right there. Calling those out before a line of code is written saves you money and usually makes the product better.
You can bring your own designer and we will collaborate, or we handle it ourselves. Either way, you sign off on the design before development starts, and it becomes the blueprint we build from, so your budget only ever goes toward something you have already seen and approved.
// 03 · WHAT WE BUILD
THE WHOLE STACK BEHIND A REAL PRODUCT.
The app is the part everyone sees. The pieces underneath are where products quietly succeed or stall, and we build all of them.
The product itself.
The web app your customers log into and use every day, fast and reliable under real load.
Accounts and access.
Sign-up, login, teams, roles, and permissions, built in from the start so security is part of the foundation, not a patch bolted on later.
Billing that has to be exact.
Subscriptions, plans, usage-based pricing, free trials, and the payment plumbing where a single bug costs real money.
The admin and the numbers.
The back office to run the product and the analytics to see what is working, so you steer with data instead of guesses.
// 04 · THE ECONOMICS
BUILT SO YOU’RE NOT PAYING FOR CUSTOMERS YOU DON’T HAVE YET.
The fastest way to kill an early SaaS is an infrastructure bill that arrives before the revenue does. So we build the cost to follow the usage: servers that scale up when demand is real and scale down to nothing when it is quiet. A slow week costs almost nothing, and a busy one pays for itself.
On AE Organizer, the machines that do the heavy lifting shut down entirely whenever the queue is empty. For a product still finding its footing, that is the difference between a runway that lasts and one that runs out.
// 05 · PROOF
A COMPLETE SAAS,
BUILT END TO END.
And the same rigor goes into everything we ship, including platforms that have held studio-scale traffic in public, under real launches, without going down.

COMMON QUESTIONS.
How much will it cost?
It depends on scope, so there is no single price, but you will never be surprised by it. We scope the work first and give you a fixed number before you commit, with no open-ended meter running. If the full vision is more than the budget right now, we start with a focused first version that fits it and grows from there.
How long will it take?
A focused first version usually ships in weeks to a few months, depending on scope, not the year a full build can stretch into. You see working software every week along the way, so you are never left waiting to find out whether it is on track, and we give you a real timeline after scoping.
Who owns the code and the product?
You do. The code, the accounts, the data, all of it is yours, from day one.
Can you take over a SaaS someone else started?
Yes. A lot of our work is stepping into an existing codebase, stabilizing it, and moving it forward.
Do you keep running it after launch?
Yes. Every build includes 60 days of support after launch, and beyond that you can keep us on a monthly retainer for ongoing work or hourly as needs come up.

TELL US WHAT
YOU'RE BUILDING.
Twenty minutes with a senior engineer, and you'll leave with how we'd build it, roughly what it takes, and what we'd worry about first. We read every message ourselves and reply within one business day.
A rough idea is enough to start.
That's in front of us now.
You'll hear back within one business day, from an engineer rather than a form letter. Nothing else needed on your end.
